Reminder of ordering details and feedback survey

The NHSGGC DOAC Patient Information Booklet and Alert Card have been available since 2018.

 

Aim of booklet

  • The booklet contains key safety messages for patients taking DOACs for any indication and is intended to reinforce verbal counselling.
  • Resources from DOAC manufacturers are available and contain more detailed information specific to drug and indication. If more detailed advice is required for your patient(s), please refer to the additional materials available for each DOAC via https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/ or the individual company websites.

 

Ordering

  • Printed copies of the booklet are available for use within NHSGGC. Ordering details can be found here.
  • Electronic versions of the booklet and alert card are also available

 

Survey

  • A feedback survey is available for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • If you have used the resource, please complete the anonymous survey and encourage your patients to provide feedback also; a link can be found on the inside cover of the booklet and the ‘Tell us your opinion’ page at the back.
  • Previous feedback has informed changes to the resource so all feedback is welcome.
