DONEPEZIL
Restrictions:
Restricted to specialist initiation. Orodispersible tablets are restricted to patients with swallowing difficulties.
MEMANTINE
Restrictions:
Restricted to use in patients with moderate disease who are intolerant of, or have contraindications to acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitors or who have severe Alzheimer's disease.
RIVASTIGMINE
Restrictions:
Restricted to specialist initiation. Use of the transdermal patch is further restricted to patients for whom rivastigmine is an appropriate choice and in whom a transdermal patch is an appropriate choice of formulation.
