Medicines Update Extra

Medicines Update Extra provides a summary of the evidence base for medicines and therapies. It gives a ready reference for busy health professionals.

Please note, the development of Medicines Update Extra bulletins will cease as of February 2022. Some existing publications have been identified to be replaced with Medicines Update blogs and will remain available until a review has taken place. All existing publications are greater than 3 years old and therefore should be used with caution as prescribing information can change. Always refer to the latest version of the manufacturer's summary of product characteristics (SPC) at http://emc.medicines.org.uk.

If you would like to access a bulletin that has been archived or have any questions around this, please email medicines.update@ggc.scot.nhs.uk
