Vitamin D – Scottish Government guidance to reflect the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic

Key messages:

  • With the current advice for people to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Scottish Government has suggested that people of all age groups should consider taking a Vitamin D supplement of 10 micrograms (400 units) daily. Full Scottish Government advice can be accessed HERE.
  • Vitamin D supplements for babies, children and adults can be purchased at pharmacies and supermarkets.
