Therapeutics Handbook Update October 2020

The Adult Therapeutics Handbook content has now been updated.

This update includes updates to the following guidelines:

Immune-related adverse events
This is a new guideline included in the oncological emergency section of the Therapeutics Handbook. The guideline describes immunotherapy agents, the main adverse effects associated with them and general management advice, with a link to more detailed guidance on the West of Scotland Cancer Network Intranet. Immune-related adverse reactions are complex and if suspected require specialist input.

Other guidelines and pages have had minor content updates including:

Management of H. Pylori eradication
Management of Hypokalaemia
General overview of oncological emergencies management and
Appendix 6 - Useful Telephone Numbers

Please familiarise yourself with the above guidelines as appropriate and if you have not already done so update your App on receipt of the notification.
