Therapeutics Handbook Update Jan 2019

There has been a content update to guidelines within the Infections chapter of the GGC Medicines Adult Therapeutics Handbook. The update brings the Therapeutics Handbook into line with the Empirical Antibiotic Therapy, Infection Management, Adults Poster (on StaffNet).

In addition to this, the Infections chapter now also includes information on how to prescribe 48 hourly gentamicin. Gentamicin should not be prescribed > 24 hours in advance. Refer to the Handbook and previous blog for further information.
