Abasaglar KwikPen® – Vision (INPS) Practices
Key messages
- The Vision (INPS) system drug formulary used in some GP practices in NHSGGC has wrongly categorised Abasaglar KwikPen® as discontinued. This is an error; Abasaglar KwikPen® remains available.
- The error on Vision (INPS) has been corrected, but will not appear in practice systems until the next update potentially into the middle of June. Prescriptions for Abasaglar KwikPen® will require to be hand written in the interim.
