Therapeutics Handbook Update Feb 2019

The Adult Therapeutics Handbook content has now been updated and includes the following main changes:

New guideline - Managing Clozapine Patients in Acute Hospitals

This guideline provides information on important points to consider for the safe and effective management of patients prescribed clozapine in acute care. Guidance is given on medicines reconciliation, supply, missed doses, compliance and clinically significant adverse effects and interactions. Further information, such as the management of clozapine induced constipation, is also available via Medicines Update Blogs (by searching for clozapine) on the GGC Medicines website http://www.ggcmedicines.org.uk/.
